1962年12月31日（农历壬寅年腊月初五）生。男。籍贯：山西省大同市。北京大学亚非研究所毕业，获法学（国际政治学专业）博士学位。英国华威大学政治学硕士。北京师范大学经济学硕士。南开大学经济系本科毕业。曾在中国社会科学院世界经济与政治研究所、中国国际问题研究所，以及中国驻印度尼西亚大使馆从事研究工作。曾任教于中国人民大学、清华大学、南开大学等。在包括英国剑桥大学、韩国汉城国立大学、日本早稻田大学、美国约翰斯·霍普金斯大学、意大利都灵大学等世界多所著名学府发表过论文或者演讲。现任中国人民大学教授、美国布鲁金斯学会访问研究员。目前的主要研究和教学方向为：全球政治经济、外交政策分析，以及亚太地区国际关系等。齐鲁公社3\[3H]"Iu%Y1O

5m)o,|8fp]7O9x0Pang Zhongying is currently Visiting Fellow at the Center for Northeast Asian Policy Studies (CNAPS), Brookings Institution in Washington DC, the United States. His major research interests include global political economy, foreign policy analysis and international relations in Asia and the Pacific.

He completed his Ph.D. in International Relations at Peking University. He obtained a MA in Politics and International Studies from the UK’s University of Warwick. He holds a MA in economics from Beijing Normal University. He graduated from Economics Department at Nankai University. He worked as a junior fellow with the Institute of the World Economics and Politics, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS) and was a senior fellow at the China Institute of International Studies (CIIS), Beijing. He was posted as a political diplomat at the Embassy of P.R. China Jakarta, Indonesia, where he dealt with Southeast Asia and watched Australia-related affairs. The following are his other visiting appointments and fellowships: Cairo University (Egypt), Salzburg Seminar (Austria), Victoria University of Wellington (New Zealand), Global Youth Exchange Program (Japan), University of Warwick (UK), Catholic University of Korea (South Korea), Nanjing University-Johns Hopkins University Center for Chinese and American Studies (China), Regional Centre for Strategic Studies (Sri Lanka), and so on. He was a faculty member at Department of International Economics, Renmin University of China. Dr. Pang was Associate Professor of International Studies, Tsinghua University and Professor of International Relations, Nankai University.

He has worked extensively on world politics, international political economy, global issues, diplomacy and foreign policy analysis as well as China’s role in the world. He has authored and edited 5 books, over 100 monographs and papers in scholarly journals or book chapters (in Chinese or English), and many op-ed articles in serious newspapers and other media. He is Contributing Editor with The National Interest in Washington DC and on the editorial board of the journal of Globalizations, Routledge, UK.   齐鲁公社K;H3@S!\!l
